I think it’s really interesting how one of the emerging themes in Campaign 2 is dealing with isolation, because all the M9 have experienced it in one way or other. Jester was hidden away from the world for most of her life, Caleb was institutionalized for eleven years, Nott never fit in with her clan and certainly didn’t fit in with the world outside after she left them, Beau never had friends growing up and was thrown away by her father, Fjord grew up in an orphanage and hasn’t known much kindness in his life, Molly was ‘born’ completely alone, Caduceus has spent most of his life living in a cemetery and totally cut off from the world…we don’t know a lot about Yasha’s past but she left the country of her birth and the people she knew before behind. It’s not just about loneliness, it’s about people who don’t have their own community, who are cut off from the world, who have to learn to engage with people and make connections and build a place they belong to through each other. And it’s fascinating to watch them grow and learn, and how they are suffering through a similar thing but in wildly different ways!

Acting like the crows won’t try to cheat the system.

Acting like the crows won’t snatch cigarettes outta people’s mouths.

Acting like murders won’t fight viciously for terf.

If they cheat the system then they earned it.

Crows reduce the rates of lung cancer by aggressively nabbing cigarettes, news at 11.

fuck it let’s just have public health policy via crows

My self-hate, which I usually have little problem with, just flared up BIG TIME and I ran to Netflix to try to find something to comfort me but everything seemed too good for me, but then it popped up and I knew it was the right answer.

So that’s why I’m watching Shrek tonight.

What if when Taako suddenly got all of his IPRE knowledge back and he just… Has a realization that he has been incredibly smart this whole time. But instead of being thrilled by this, he just says in horror, “Fuck, I’m a Nerd. Oh Shit.”

Let’s just take a moment to remember the dark ages of Disney park characters.

Prince Caspian. I’m sure this lasted like two weeks.

I don’t even know what this is. Jessica Rabbit. Okay. That’s cool. But is this a fur character or a face character? Why was this a thing.

Let us never forget the days of the mowgli face character; where they hired a guy to run around in shorts. A moment of silence.

And finally: my absolute favorite. Flounder.

I cannot come up with a caption for this.

Why.

Oh  but wait, there’s more: Treasure Planet

And Atlantis (WHY??? is Vinny the only one without a real face?)

Then there’s vintage Disney:

Ok, that’s not so bad, but THIS – OH GOD WHY??
