paperperil:

I decided to test out my new watercolours so I made a comic, inspired by the movie comics made by Little Thunder. It was a fun experiment though it took me much longer than expected.

Away We Go is a movie I enjoy rewatching from time to time, do watch it if you can!

Polyamory in Old Hollywood Musicals

The Band Wagon – Lester/Lily/Tony

I’m perfectly happy with Tony and Gabby together, but let’s not lie, Tony has a history with Lily and Lester (very similar to Cary Grant’s relationship to Edward Everett Horton and Jean Dixon in Holiday, just FYI). It was supportive and loving and beautiful.

On the Town – Everyone

Am I here to rain on your parade? No, I am not. Go forth and ship the six of them together. Go for it. The girls all get an apartment together and when the men come back, they all immediately begin having loud sex in all the different rooms. Claire is obviously the one to point out how hot it is and things go from there.

Easter Parade – Hannah/Don/Johnny

This is not Don and Johnny’s first triad together, but this is vastly superior in all ways and they all three know it.

The Barkleys of Broadway – Josh/Dinah/Ezra

Y’all, in this scene, Josh literally refers to the two of them as his “lifelong partners.” They’re holding hands. They go away for a weekend in the country together. It’s thrilling.

But even this majesty cannot reach the heights of the crowning jewel…

Singin’ in the Rain – Cosmo/Don/Kathy

Incredible. Honestly, incredible. The only date I’ve ever been on ended with the three of us watching Singin’ in the Rain because of its poly magic. An inspiration to us all.
