OK we need to talk about this scene.

There’s a lot of talk on here about normalizing and representation, but this scene here,

this was it.

The way this frames them as just another married couple having a serious discussion about a plot point that will impact their family, no different from how a straight couple would, no mention of their queerness, not revolving around their queerness, but also not shying away from making sure you recognize it.

But there was something about the way it was portrayed through these (insanely talented) faces that are so familiar to the general tv audience, who we’re so used to seeing as straight characters, that hits it spot on.
