Kira Nerys should have been a canon lesbian. She has more chemistry with Jadzia than she has with every man she’s ever been paired with combined. It would have been so easy to do because the storyline about Odo pining for her would have been the same, and would still have allowed us to see him begin to truly understand the more difficult parts of being human. Then by the series finale he could have ended up with Quark because they actually make a more interesting pairing in this essay I will
