I know it’s Not That Deep but what a bummer for saltzman to dedicate his time and creativity to writing something in a clearly heartfelt manner and the minute he gives a sincere interview about it they put out a statement not even mentioning him and saying puppets “don’t have a sexual orientation” like it’s some kind of Sex Thing. truly the story of gay ppl’s contributions to culture lmao

It’s also patently untrue. Mama Bear and Papa Bear are married but Sesame Street doesn’t think they have a sexual orientation because they’re straight. But guess what! They do!
