your comic about dumbledore’s scar reminded me of when i was a tiny child reading the books in croatian; we have the same word for “map” and “ticket” so i wasn’t sure which one the scar was like. then i figured the ticket would be more useful – he’d never have to pay for one, just lift up his robes and show some leg to the conductor – so that had to be that. and a magic scar could be that realistic. years later i reread hp in english and oh man, what a disappointment. it was the map all along
