When I accepted my admission, I sent an email to the Veterans Service office at the university with my VA information and an application for benefits to use my Post 9/11 GI Bill. I followed up last week, as I hadn’t seen anything in the mail from the VA and school starts in a month. I got a response back from the Veterans Service office with an apology for missing my “overlooked” email – they never sent off my application.
I’m frustrated, embarrassed, and kicking myself over thinking something with Veterans Services or the VA would actually work correctly, but I’ve never had an issue before. Tuition will be billed this month. Any help is appreciated.
